Meet Todd R. Avellar, Ph.D
Dr. Avellar is a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania, New York, and PSYPACT participating states, as well as a mental performance coach and trained Mindful Sport Performance Enhancement (MSPE®) instructor.
He specializes in cultivating psychological flow and high performance mindsets, helping individuals fully engage in the activities they love with clarity, confidence, and resilience.
Grounded in mindfulness practice and informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, Dr. Avellar brings an integrative and evidence based approach to performance psychology. His work blends practical mental skills training with deeper psychological insight to support consistent, sustainable excellence.
With extensive experience in holistic healing and mentoring emerging psychologists, he partners with athletes, professionals, and creatives to enhance focus, manage pressure, and expand their capacity for peak performance.

Jenna Armstrong, M.A.; PsyD Candidate
Jenna is a psychologist-in-training and doctoral candidate of clinical psychology at the APA-accredited PsyD Program at Point Park University. She is completing her practicum in clinical-sports psychology under Dr. Avellar’s direct supervision at Phoenix Performance Psychology and in clinical psychotherapy at AWPA.
Jenna works with athletes, creatives, executives, and other high performers who want to improve focus, perform more consistently under pressure, and feel more connected to what they are doing. Her approach is practical, grounded in performance psychology, and shaped by curiosity, compassion, and respect.
Her work focuses on mindful performance skills that build awareness, flexibility, and confidence in high pressure moments. As a former cheerleader and coach, Jenna understands the intensity and commitment required to perform at a high level. That lived experience informs how she supports clients in translating preparation into consistent execution.
Jenna’s work is informed by collaborative and empowering frameworks and emphasizes strengths and sustainable performance over time.
